| Feeding by Sleeps With Coyotes. (Heat/Serph) |
Sleeps With Coyotes/Coyo is one of my favourite authors, no questions about it, so I am pretty much guaranteed to like any of her fics. Unfortunately (in terms of me writing this rec, that is), this means I am finding it very difficult to explain precisely why this fic made me degenerate into a fizzing ball of glee more than her other fics.
The closest I've come is this: DDS is an under-represented fandom for two extremely good games. The games have complex characters with strong relationships. Heat and Serph have one of the most complicated relationships in the games, if not the most complicated. There's obviously a strong, if twisted, bond between them, which has led several authors to try writing them - and, in my opinion, to fail miserably.
I should have known that Coyo would not fail miserably. That Coyo would, in fact, make me actually thump my desk in glee at how perfect this fic is.
