Persona 4: Ten Steps (Souji/Yosuke)
Ten Steps (Souji/Yosuke)

In this AU, the development of Junes is delayed Yosuke comes to Inaba after Souji - and also after the murders have started. It fits neatly with the events of the game without relying on it too heavily - really nicely done.

Persona 3 & 4: kerCRACK
kerCRACK (Mitsuru/Naoto)

The one and only time the "in my pants" joke has ever been funny.

Cuz. It's Mitsuru.

Persona 4: Always Use Protection
Always Use Protection

I have a big soft spot for fics with an older Nanako, where the entire Investigation Team are homicidally overprotective of her. (Because they would be. You know it.) This fic has all that plus entertaining snippets of the future life of the Investigation Team members - it's pretty much me favourite fic of this type.

Persona 4: Out of Service (Souji/Yosuke)
Out of Service (Souji/Yosuke)

This is much longer than the previous recs and gets much more involved. The prompt was for a fic where Souji and Yosuke meet up later in life and don't recognise each other. The author managed to make that into a deliciously twisty piece of angst, well worth a read.

Persona 4: Still Worth It
Still Worth It

I died laughing. (Mental health warning: I have a warped sense of humour.)

Persona 4: Breeze - In Monochrome Night
Breeze - In Monochrome Night

The prompt requesting this will spoil the ending, so I want to place a big blaring warning here: DO NOT LOOK AT THE PROMPT BEFORE READING THE FIC. It won't make the fic any less worth a read, but it may make it less of a horribly creepy gutpunch.

Dinner and the Art of Conversation by zero_damage. (Kanji/Naoto)
Warning for the usual Naoto spoilers, although how you can avoid being spoiled for Naoto's "secret" any where on the intertubes I don't know. Anyway. This is probably my favourite characterisation of Kanji's mother - delicate and refined and totally inappropriate.

Bad, bad bathhouse~!
A few days ago I discovered the badbadbathhouse livejournal and the Marukyu Revue, which is dedicated to cataloguing it. I have since spent several fantastic days going through the list of filled prompts (avoiding some of the weirder ones, because this is a kink meme, after all) and I would like to catalogue a few of the gems I have discovered.

Sewing by Day, Stripping by Night, Kanji/Naoto. In which the cast are all grown up, and Kanji supplements his normal income by stripping. Which nobody knows about until the girls go out on the town one night.

They go through more homeroom teachers... Attemped Kashiwage/Dojima - don't run away, it's freaking hilarious!

He'd never noticed the shadows were so... We all know Souji eats awful crap, and in this short it catches up to him. Brilliant Yosuke-Souji interaction, too. (Not Yosuke/Souji interaction, though.)

JIZZ IN MY PANTS, PERSONA 4 STYLE. I have no excuse. Neither did the author. Who cares?

SUDDENLY, WANG WAGONS. THOUSANDS OF THEM. Again, a fic with no excuse. Apart from the fact that Mara is freaking awesome.

Two fics: "Smile, Everyone. Smile" and "Keep on smilin'". The anon who posted the prompt wanted a mishap from Teddie's "bear-pile on the enemy!" line. The two fics together make a truly fantastic story out of that - I wouldn't rec the first without the second, but you can't have the second without the first. Plus, awesome last line.

Untitled, Souji/Yosuke. It's a weird and wonderful way to confess.

A Night Like This, Souji/Yosuke. I am reccing this for Adachi. No other reason. Adachi only comes in at the end, but the way he comes in is awesome and the most perfectly, wickedly accurate tongue-in-cheek characterisation of him I have seen.

Super Effective by Spoodlexiii. (Soji/Yosuke, Soji/Kanji)
The last line is really cheesy and almost ruined the fic for me, but ignoring that - the Yosuke-Kanji interaction in this fic is spot on, and Soji topping everyone amuses the crap out of me. Short and sweet.

Hypothetically Speaking by testarossa. (Soji/Yosuke. Hypothetically.)
Since Persona 4 has just come out, fic for it is a little thin on the ground. The dynamic between Soji and Yosuke - and, to be honest, just Yosuke himself - tickled me right from the minute I started playing, though, and this fic puts a non-platonic spin on the whole group's interactions with a focus on those two.

It's definitely a cliche, and the spelling/grammar aren't up to my usual exacting standards, but if you're looking for a light-hearted Persona 4 fic this one should fix you up.
